Our Pathology Department is equipped with fully functional diagnostic laboratories staffed by dedicated professionals, ensuring short turnaround times for results.

🔬 Clinical Pathology

  • 24-hour lab services available
  • Air-conditioned OP Blood Collection Room with 6 phlebotomy chairs

🩺 Hematology

  • Fully automated hematology analyzers, ESR analyzers, HPLC analyzers
  • Peripheral blood smear, bone marrow studies, and coagulation studies

🩸 Hospital Blood Bank

  • Licensed state-of-the-art blood bank
  • Facilities for blood component separation and apheresis

🔬 Cytopathology

  • FNAC, Guided FNAC, Cervical and Pulmonary Cytology, and Fluid Cytopathology

🧬 Histopathology

  • Fully equipped Biopsy Pathology lab with automated tissue processors, embedding station, microtomes, and auto stainers
  • Ancillary investigations for cancer diagnosis, including histochemistry and immunohistochemistry
  • Surgical pathology and autopsy pathology services are fully operational

🎓 Pathology Department Academic Facilities

  • Post Graduate Course in MD Pathology: 2 seats with yearly intake
  • Student Laboratories: Two laboratories with 60 seating capacity, fully equipped with microscopes
  • Demonstration Rooms: Two rooms with a 50-student seating capacity each
  • Microscopes and Audio-Visual Aids: Penta-head microscopes, camera, projection screen, dual-head microscopes, LED TVs, LCD projectors
  • Lecture Halls: Equipped with smart boards and audio-visual aids

📚 Department Facilities

  • The department includes a well-equipped library, museum, and research lab for faculty and postgraduate research.
  • Training facilities for paramedical courses, such as DMLT and DRT, are available.

⏰ Department Working Hours

The department operates from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing quality diagnostic and educational services to all students and patients.
